Papa is a cebuano term for father. I guess if I change the name into Korean.
The name will be Papa Land. 파파가 현지말로 아빠입니다. 뭐 아빠랜드 이런거 아닐까 싶네요.
I think that the place is not develop yet.
This place has the same area with Everland. but here is more natural. 부지만 에버랜드급이고 나이머지는 천연에 가깝습니다.
Their aren't many ticketing office. Their's only one ticket booth and one attendant.
Here it's not possible to use credit cards. You have to pay in cash.
The package includes zipline. horseback rinding, hanging bridge, free combo meal,
fishing rod for fishing is worth 450 pesos in all.
In Korean its 12000 won. It also includes meal which is a good idea.
If we want to move from one place to another. Riding the shuttle is free
and we always ride on it.
We sometimes wait for it a longer time.
Everywhere we go and visit.
The people welcome us.
In the Philippines. the Korean singers are more famous than their local singers.
We tried first the Horseback riding. 20 mins/100 pesos.
The first who ride on the horse is our English teacher.
The tricycle is carrying the horse's food.
My horse is maybe hungry. The horse was being ridden all the time.
After the horse back riding, we went to the zipline
Ofcourse, we rode the shuttle on our way to the zipline. when we arrived at the zipline place
we saw the a woman climbing the wall. Her friends cheered on her after she finished the wall climbing.
This is the zipline. If you ride zipline it will take you to the other side.
You can view the sea.
there is no package deal, if you just want to ride the zipline you just have to pay 200 pesos.
For first time riders you will just have the standard pose but for some people they try to use extreme poses like
having their body turn upside down.
In here you can experience riding the motorbike.
I only took a picture of my son riding the motorbike.
This meal is included in the package. plain rice , two bbq and a bottle of cola.
It is delicious because we were playing very hard and we were very hungry.
I ordered buko juice. They gave me a spoon together with the buko so i can possibly eat the insides.
The rooster acts as a cleaner because it eats food droppings from the tables which we eat from.
At the other side of the restaurant, there is a souvenir shop where we watched some native accessories.
This is what the natives do to the carcass of the buko after some customers have done consuming them.
The rabbit and the kangaroos are worth 100 pesos each.
I didn't have enough lunch so I had some snacks while watching other people walk across the hanging bridge.
It looks very safe because they use steel safety cables while people cross the bridge.
It is very interesting because the safety organizers constantly and purposely shake the bridge to give
the people some thrill while crossing the bridge.
We can take pictures with the big snake for free. I hit the snake a bit hard and it barely moved.
I also tried wall climbing. It is very hard so i couldn't go up higher because staaying still is already hard.
In here, ducks and chickens dwell in the area much like the African safari
They are fun to look at because there swarm all over the food which is sprinkled to them
This is their fishing spot. There is a sign that if you catch a fish, you can choose to either throw it back in
or just buy the fish from them which should be weighed by kilo.
In here, i think there are really a lot of fish because customers constantly feed them with fish food.
Sprinkling fish food is a good way to draw in fish so you can catch them.
People of all ages can easily catch fish even if they have no experience.
but sometimes you cannot bring the fish in because the fishing poles are old and does not have the reel in function.
We chose to buy the fish we caught and had it cooked in their restaurant
Cooking the fish costed us almost 40 pesos and the 3 fish we caught costs 100 pesos.
Suddenly, sunset came in. We saw the sunset background while we were in the sea riding the boat.
The boat ride costs 400 pesos every 30 minutes.
While we were riding the boat, we took a picture of these people riding across the zipline.
This exact moment while watching people have fun and at the same time being
surrounded by the sunset in the middle of the sea was such a beautiful experience.
This picture is the papa kits sunset background.
Caution:
-to take a taxi from cebu city to papa kits costs 250 pesos. Sometimes, you have to instruct the drivers
where papa kits is because you might get lost or go farther than the location north of cebu
-For the entrance fee, it's better if you would buy the package which costs 450 pesos to have a complete experience
-You take the horse back riding first because the Horse park is very near the gate.
-Fishing is only fun if you don't catch any. just sitting there and enjoying the moment is more fun.
-When you return, you can possibly use the jeepney but riding the taxi is more comfortable and safe at the same time.
