Maribago Beach Resort

 

 

Maribago Resort in  Mactan Lapu-lapu and also there is the International Airport.

 

The Shangrila hotel and other resorts are also located in Lapu-Lapu.

 

So I choose the cheaper resort to stayed there for 2days.

 

Information area looks nice and small. 

 

The main restaurant is located near the frontdesk.

 

Before you go there you should make a reservation so that is easy to check in.

 

I made a reservation through agoda.com because it is cheap and easy to book.

 

It is a very cheap hotel but breakfast is not included.

 

During check in, the waitress gave us cucumber juice. 

 

Maybe it is a kind of welcome tea.  

 

I looked around the resort after checking in. 

 

The pool is clean and a life guard is there .

 

In front of resort it is a beach. In my own opinion, the sand is nice on the sand bar.

 

but in the water, I saw only rocks.

 

Maybe the dead corals became rocks. We can't step in the water because the rocks are sharp.

 

I took a ride on a small boat for travelling around the island for only 500 pesos.

 

The boat doesn't have an engine it was driven by man power which made me feel pity for them.

 

nevertheless, i was interested and went snorkeling for an extra 100 pesos for snorkeling gear rent

 

This resort has 3 buildings this is the biggest building and it has beautiful fish pond fronting the resort.

 

The size of the fish is almost the same size as my baby.

 

These fish are very clever because they follow the people that go and watch them.

 

I think it's because they think those people will give them food.

 

It was a new environment for me.

 

I took a picture of my son, who was sitting on the chair.

 

On the picture, you can see an antique ship which is made out of wood.  

 

Inside the bedroom. There is an extra bed which is clean.

 

 This resort has two swimming pools. The other pool can be seen outside the window.

 

The airconditioner in the resort gives out good and cool air. We can also use the television, but its condition isn't good.

 

 The television uses sky cable. However the sounds are good while the pictures are not clear.

 

During dinner time I ordered a bukojuice.

 

The waiter asked me if I want to eat the flesh which is inside the buko.

 

the waiter get the buko and when he came back the buko was cut into half.

 

I ordered chicken and lechon, it was my first time to order lechon.

Lechon is similar with fried samjapsal. 

 

I ordered lechon, but the waiter handed me a lechon which is fried. 

 

The first time i ate lechon I didn't know its original taste. Maybe what you can see in the picture isn't the original lechon.

 

This lechon is overcooked.

 

I feel tired because I ate many food last night and played hard with my son.

 The Korean mart is located in front of the resort but I can't visit there, because I so tired. 

I heard from the comments that the resort serves not good breakfast, but I think the food is just 

the same with the other resort. 

The resort's fee which is 10manwon is consumable with breakfast

 

After I eat breakfast. I saw a foreigner giving food to the fishes.

My son approached the foreigner and he was given a fish food. 

then my son gave the food to the fishes. 

When I touched the fishes they came closer like a dog 

If I will have an aquarium I want to have that  kind of fish. 

Maybe if they will grow bigger It's possible to have a conversation with them. 

 

My son is now ready to play full-scale in the pool.

After we check out in our room. We stayed in the pool area and played there.

 

You can still play even though you check out in your room 

The Hawaiian pizza has different toppings like tropical fruits and the famous mangoe shake in the philippines 

 

And halo-halo is same with potbingsu. It has almost same price with 2manwon 

Many sea sports are being enjoyed by the people.

The people feel good, because of the good weather. 

 

You must apply some sun cream. Local people who are under the trees are also using sun cream.

 

I rode the jetski, 30mins/1500pesos. 

Because it;s my first time. The guide taught me for 5 mins. 

 

I sign the waiver. To make sure that I agree with any accidents that may happen. 

 

It is very interesting and fast. 

 

I'm sweating, because I played an exciting sport.

 

I'm very thirsty and i drank the buko juice. 

 

-If you go to the resort, the taxi fare is negotiable not by meter. 

-If you want to experience a fantastic beach . Here it;s not that great. 

-The food's price aren't experience unlike the other resort. If  you want to swim in the pool

  It's possible to order and eat there.

-If you don't apply sun cream you can play during sun set. if you don't want to have a sunbun. 

-If you happen to visit there you must see and touch the fishes.
